Maybe the delay in receiving the oil was beneficial because it allowed me to spend so much more time in preparing the wood. The results were outstanding. I don't know if you recall but I had purchased a new stock from Dupage. That's not the stock I applied the oil to last night. I decided to try out the oil first on the well-stripped original stock and handguards that came with the rifle. I can only say now that I'll probably be selling the Dupage stock. I only wish that I would have waited before finishing (with tung oil) several Springfields I have. > > Hoping everything is going well for you, > Al Lembo _______________________________________________________________________

I had a NOS m14 stock that was always muddy and cloudy. Could never get the grain to pop. Two coats with the oil and it looks like a million bucks! Thanks alot! _______________________________________________________________________________

Frank,
I assume you're the owner/chemist behind the operation or can be in touch with the individual responsible for making the Ox product. I just want you to know, this is the best stuff I've used to date. I have used boiled linseed oil, lemon oil and a smattering of other products to no avail. This stuff beats them all by far. For the love of God, please don't go out of business, or if you do please send out the secret formula. I highly doubt you'll run out of repeat customers. I can personally tell you that I plan on refinishing three other family members CMP Garands, as well as at least 1 Carbine with the Ox. ____________________________________________________________________________

YOUR PRODUCT IN A ONE WORD SUMMARY IS...... AWESOME!!! I HAVE REFINISHED 3 30 CAL CARBINES, 2 GARANDS AND A SPRINGFIELD 1903A3. I AM AMAZED AT HOW GOOD THEY TURNED OUT AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOUR PRODUCT. I DISASSEMBLED THE CARBINES AND SPRINGFIELD AND CLEANED THE WOOD USING GREASE CUTTER DISHWASHER LIQUID AND A SPONGE. GOT ALL THE GRIME OFF BEFORE APPLYING FAIRTRIMMERS. THE WOOD LOOKS GOOD!!
I HAVE 3 MORE CARBINES, 1 GARAND and 2 BENELLI 20 GA. SHOTGUNS LEFT TO DO. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO DOING THIS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRODUCT!! ____________________________________________________________________________

Frank
I got the Fairtrimmer's treatment done on my CMP 'C' stock for my M1903A3. Due to all the fitment (Dremel, filing, sanding), the whole stock was sanded, so I decided to give the Military oX a try.
Your instructions (and reasoning behind those instructions) are quite clear and helpful. The result is very nice, as you can see:
